Daimler Northeast Asia Parts Trading and Services, which looks after market logistics for Mercedes-Benz vehicles – has opened a 36,000 sqm parts distribution centre in Conghua development park Guangzhou.
It is Daimler’s second built-to-suit parts distribution facility in the country
Daimler, are one of the biggest producers of premium cars and the world’s biggest manufacturer of commercial vehicles.
Spaceframe China are proud to have been selected as the Pre-Engineered Metal Building contractor for Daimler Guangzhou.
Our scope included supply and installation of steel structure, roof and wall cladding systems for this distribution centre.
Thanks to our teams design expertise, and just-in-time delivery planning, the extra-long trusses were successfully installed on schedule despite what can only be described as extreme weather conditions.
With the addition of this 36,000 square meters Guangzhou facility, Daimler now has a total warehouse capacity in China of approximately 170,000 square meters, stocking more than 53,000 different parts.
